Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Islander Express services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Islander Express Ltd.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Islander Express services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all users of our website and shipping services.
2. Services
Islander Express provides package forwarding, consolidation, checkout assistance, and door-to-door delivery services exclusively to St. Lucia. We act as a freight forwarder and are not responsible for the quality or condition of goods purchased from third-party retailers.
3. Shipping Destination
Islander Express exclusively ships to St. Lucia. We do not ship to any other country or territory. By registering for our services, you confirm that your delivery address is located in St. Lucia.
4. Prohibited & Restricted Items
You agree not to ship any prohibited items including but not limited to: firearms, explosives, illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, live animals, and hazardous materials. Shipping restricted items requires prior written approval and appropriate documentation. Violation of this policy may result in account termination and legal action.
5. Customs, Duties & Taxes
You are solely responsible for all customs duties, VAT, and taxes imposed by the Government of St. Lucia on your imported goods. Islander Express will handle customs clearance on your behalf but all fees are payable by you. Accurate declaration of goods is required. Undervaluing goods for customs purposes is illegal and may result in seizure and penalties.
6. Liability
Islander Express's liability is limited to the lesser of the declared value of the shipment or USD $100 per package, unless additional insurance is purchased. We are not liable for delays caused by customs, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. We are not responsible for damage to improperly packaged items.
7. Insurance
Basic coverage is included for all shipments. Additional insurance is available for purchase at the time of shipment. Claims must be filed within 30 days of the expected delivery date.
8. Payment
All shipping fees are due before your package is released for delivery. We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Stripe. Prices are in USD. We reserve the right to change our rates at any time with reasonable notice.
9. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
10. Privacy
We collect and use your personal information to provide our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your information may be shared with customs authorities as required by law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
12. Changes to Terms
Islander Express reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
